Bugatti, the history of model cars

Company Bugatti, the history of model cars began in the town of Molsheim, France. The company expects to make a fast car, it took up an Italian immigrant, described as an eccentric genius - Ettore Bugatti. The original company is legendary that has produced some of the best cars in the world, so also the fastest. The original Bugatti brand failed with the exit from the World War II. The death of Ettore's son Jean was also a negative factor. The company struggled financially, and has released a latest model in the 1950's, before they bought part of the business airplane industry in the 1960's. Today the name of the company belongs to Volkswagen Group, the construction of extremely limited production sports cars. Founder Ettore Bugatti was born in Milan, Italy, and the automobile company that bears his name, was founded in 1909 in Molsheim, located in Alsace. The company was known and the level of development of parts for cars, Ettore family (his father, Carlo Bugatti (1856-1940) was an important designer of furniture and jewelry Art Nouveau). The company also enjoyed great success in the early racing engines Grand Prix, winning the first ever Monaco Grand Prix. The company's success culminated with driver Jean-Pierre Wimille double win 24 Hours of Le Mans (in 1937 with Robert Benoist and 1939 with Pierre Veironom). Bugatti cars were works of art, because they were created mechanically. Surfaces were so flat that it is not required to isolate, many surface exposed engine compartment. Instead of bonding the spring bolts to axles, like most manufacturers, the axis of Bugatti were made so that the spring is inserted into the niche axis, a more elegant solution requiring fewer parts. He clearly described his car brand Bentley competitors as "the fastest trucks in the world." According to Bugatti, "the weight was the enemy." The most famous vehicle is the Bugatti Type 35 Grand Prix cars, "Royale", Type 57 "Atlantic" and the Type 55 sports car. January 2, 2009, showed that a rare type of Bugatti Atlantic (1937) was found in the garage of a deceased surgeon in England. Only 17 cars of this model were made by hand. July 10, 2009 Bugatti Brescia 22 (1925), which lay at the bottom of Lake Maggiore on the border of Switzerland and Italy for 75 years, was raised from the water. Mullin Museum in Oxnard, California bought it at auction for $ 351,343 at Bonham Retromobile sale in Paris in 2010. During the production, which has produced about 7,900 cars (of which about 2,000 still exist), each Bugatti model was designated with the prefix T for Type, which shows the number of chassis and engine. During the war, Bugatti working on Levallois in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, on several new projects, including the Type 73 car, Type 73C single race car (5 built), and the Type 75. After the Second World War has been canceled overloaded car 375 cc, when Ettore died. Bugatti cars were extremely successful in racing, with many thousands of victories in just a few decades. Small Bugatti Type 10 won the first four places in his first race. Bugatti Type 35 (1925) is probably the most successful racing car of all time, with more than 2,000 victories. Bugatti firm won the Targa Florio for five years straight from 1925 to 1929. Louis Chiron held the most podiums in their cars Bugatti, and twenty-first century, the company Bugatti introduced the concept car named in his honor. But it was the final racing success at Le Mans. Already during the First World War, Bugatti has taken in-line engine with 8 cylinders for use in aircraft, after discussion with Roland Garros. Two of these blocks in parallel on a common crankcase, made U-16, which will be built in the U.S. as the King-Bugatti airplane ideal. In 1930, Ettore Bugatti was involved in the creation of an airplane racer, hoping to win the Germans in Detssha de la Murta. It would be a Bugatti 100P, which never flew. It was developed by a Belgian engineer Louis de Monge, who has already used the engines Bugatti Brescia in Type 7.5. Son of Ettore Bugatti, Jean Bugatti, was killed Aug. 11, 1939 at the age of 30 years, testing a racing car type 57 factories around Molsheim. Subsequently, the company began to decline. The Second World War destroyed the factory in Molsheim, and the company lost control of the property. During the war, Bugatti planned a new factory at Levallois in Paris and designed a series of new cars. August 21, 1947 by Ettore Bugatti died. The company did attempt to return at Roland Bugatti in the mid 1950's with a race car type 251, designed by the famous Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, and designer Gioacchino Colombo, Maserati, the car was not able to recoup all the expectations and the company's attempts at automobile production were stopped. In the 1960's, Virgil Exner designed a Bugatti as part of his "project" car revival. Version of this car was actually built using the last Bugatti Type 101 chassis and was shown in 1965 at the Turin Motor Show. Exner was still turned his attention to the revival of the car as a brand. Bugatti continued producing airplane parts and was sold in 1963, another manufacturer Suiza. The company took over in 1968. Italian entrepreneur Romano Artoli became famous Bugatti name in 1987 and established Bugatti Publishers Association Software Automobili. The new company built a factory, designed by architect Dzhiempeolo Benedini in Campogalliano, Italy, in a town near Modena, the car manufacturers Ferrari, Pagani and Maserati. By 1989, plans for a new revival of Bugatti were offered Stantsani Paolo and Marcello Gandini, famous designers of the Lamborghini Miura and Countach. The first completed car was labeled Bugatti EB110 GT, advertised as ever produced the most technically advanced sports car. Technical director from 1992 to 1994, was a famous racing car designer, Mauro Forgeri. August 27, 1993, through his holding company, Holdings ACBN SA Luxembourg, Romano Artoli bought a car company Lotus from General Motors. The acquisition brings together two very large companies involved in road racing, these plans have been made to list the shares on international stock exchanges. Bugatti, introduced in 1993, a prototype of a large salon called EB112. Model defined by the United States market, was named the "Bugatti, America was under development when the company closed. Bugatti liquidators sold Lotus Proton of Malaysia. In 1997, German manufacturers have purchased a license Doire EB110 and the remaining part of the Bugatti, to produce five more units EB110, although they were very refined Doire. The factory was later sold to make furniture company, which also collapsed before. Perhaps the most famous owner of the Bugatti EB110 was a racing driver Michael Schumacher, semirazovy Formula 1 World Champion, who bought the EB110 in 1994, racing for the team Benetton. In 2003, Schumacher sold the car - which was rebuilt after a serious collision. Volkswagen Group (Volkswagen AG) has bought the rights to produce cars under the Bugatti name in 1998. They changed the design of the car and fired a concept Bugatti EB118, with cabin (sedan) and the first W-configuration engine with 18 cylinders, was introduced at the Paris Auto Show. In 1999, introduced the concept of Bugatti EB 218 also at the Geneva Auto Show. Later that year, was presented to Bugatti Chiron. At the Tokyo Motor Show came EB 218 and Bugatti Veyron, it was presented as the first incarnation of what eventually was to become a production car Bugatti. In 2000, Volkswagen AG founded a subsidiary of Volkswagen France, and presented the car Veyron turbocharged, four-barrel carburetor with 16 cylinders. Accelerated the car from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.5 seconds, top speed which is 407 kilometers per hour. The car was displayed at Paris, Geneva and the Detroit Auto Show. Development continued throughout 2004, and the Veyron was promoted to the status of an advanced concept car. In July 2005, Bugatti announced that the car will be officially called Bugatti Veyron 16.4. It was said that built on an entirely new plant Bugatti in Dorlisheim - will be presented to customers in October 2005, but the Veyron actually went into production in late 2005 and the first cars were put on sale in early 2006. As for maximum speed, the car has exceeded its limit, speeding up to 408.47 miles per hour. After conducting independent tests, the press reported many failures (three out of five cars available for testing in November 2005, were knocked out), but the Veyron prototypes were put through the same operating conditions as well as other models of Volkswagen Group. This vehicle is available in different in many different color combinations, including red and black, blue and dark blue, gray and black. Bugatti Veyron is the latest version of the limited production. It costs $ 2.3 million, the inner part of which has designed and hand-processed leather and silk French specialist Hermes. He also presented a Bugatti with calfskin interior. Bugatti Veyron was designed by the head of the Division Volkswagen Groups Skoda Auto Design, Joseph boar. Bleu Centenaire shows 100 years of history. He has the same volume of 8.0 liters, 16 cylinder engine is turbocharged supercharged quad as a standard Veyron. Only in the exclusive production includes two-tone paint, "France Bleu" and "sprintblue shine." This series of cars is estimated at 1.35 million euros, and debuted at the 79th International Motor Show in Geneva, Switzerland. In September 2009, Bugatti vypustil concept car Galibier, the first modern four-Bugatti. Galibier is taken from the original name for the four-door saloon type 57, although with two doors. Like all concept cars may be different at the time of production, but this car is expected to be set in motion by the same 16-cylinder engine multitoplivnym by accelerating the dynamics and the value will not yield similar Veyron. The motor W16, is expected to be delivered two supercharger rather than four turbo nagnetatelyakak to Bugatti Veyron.
