Many companies have decided to reduce production and raise prices. But not Honda. Conversely, he has lowered prices and doubled the production. The results were immediate. The company's sales increased by 76 percent! By 1987, Honda became the fastest growing company in the world. Important role in the development of the company played not only Mr. Thunder, as was often called Saichiro Honda and Takeo Fujisawa but is not known with their ingenuity and excellent managerial skills. He worked at the company almost since its foundation, since 1949. He died in 1989. Saichiro Honda survived him for two years and died in 1991. The next president of the company became Nobuhiko Kawamoto, who at that time worked for the company about 20 years. You can be sure that Saichiro Honda would be glad to success. The year 2000 was for the corporation in this millennium. Production of cars in that year totaled 2,540,000 units, 5.16 million motorcycles, and about 4,080,000 of thousands of other equipment. Impressive results! Honda Motor has always been an innovative company. Such it is today. In September 2009 the Corporation was honored to receive the prestigious Grove Meda for the creation of a car with a hydrogen engine.
