"The entrepreneur should not put a plausible goal, and do not be afraid of defeat" - more than once Saichiro Honda, who is the founder of the corporation Honda. And indeed, this principle lesson Saichiro in childhood, influenced his whole life and the lives of many people today. Indeed, precisely because of this principle, Saichiro Honda was able to succeed, which is still accompanied by the company Honda. As he began development of the company, whose products today is one of the best selling in its segment, not only in Japan but around the world? And it happened in 1948 in postwar Japan. It was then, with experience in building racing cars Saichiro Honda decided to produce cheap transportation for Japanese workers. The first vehicle was a so-called velomoped - Bike mounted with its kerosene engine. Moped called the Honda D from the English word dream - a dream. "I do not remember exactly why dream. I've often said that Honda will be the producer of world-class, so slowly, the bike was called a dream "- said many years later Saichiro Honda. The model went into production in 1951. And in 1957, a model called the Super cub, which honors was an unusual step that had been convenient for women and adolescents. Both models were great fun. Already in 1961, Honda produced about a hundred thousand riders per month. To the 70 th Honda was holding about 60 percent of the world market, and by 1990 production was 3 million units per year. Legendary Saichiro Honda has repeatedly argued that adhered to its rules. I remember his words: "Entrepreneurs should not put a plausible goal." For example in 1974 in Japan hit an oil crisis. Many companies have decided to reduce production and raise prices. But not Honda. Conversely, he has lowered prices and doubled the production. The results were immediate. The company's sales increased by 76 percent! By 1987, Honda became the fastest growing company in the world. Important role in the development of the company played not only Mr. Thunder, as was often called Saichiro Honda and Takeo Fujisawa but is not known with their ingenuity and excellent managerial skills. He worked at the company almost since its foundation, since 1949. He died in 1989. Saichiro Honda survived him for two years and died in 1991. The next president of the company became Nobuhiko Kawamoto, who at that time worked for the company about 20 years. You can be sure that Saichiro Honda would be glad to success. The year 2000 was for the corporation in this millennium. Production of cars in that year totaled 2,540,000 units, 5.16 million motorcycles, and about 4,080,000 of thousands of other equipment. Impressive results! Honda Motor has always been an innovative company. Such it is today. In September 2009 the Corporation was honored to receive the prestigious Grove Meda for the creation of a car with a hydrogen engine. As is proved by more than half a century of history of this corporation, the principle Saichiro Honda - the entrepreneur should not put a plausible goal, was correct.
